I bought this Soviet-era radio from a Ukrainian woman’s Etsy shop, just days before the war began. This weekend I ripped out the non-functioning innards and turned it into a Bluetooth speaker. I’ve found that it sounds best playing back Gogol Bordello tracks.
If Bluetooth isn't your speed, you can plug in an audio source with an 1/8" "aux" cable as well. It has rechargeable batteries that seem to last a good while and can be charged with a DC power supply with 2.1 x 5.5 mm with 20" (500 mm) leads.
I plan to do some more of these, so check back for more updates!
